Gastronomy and Armagnac, two passions that have become well-established values within the Darroze family. Every members of this family from Bas-Armagnac participate in the success of the family restaurant (Maison Claude Darroze, Langon).
Early in the 1970s, Francis decided to age the eaux-de-vie himself, in his own cellar, under his sole control. He then tracks the Gascon countryside in search of the best pieces from different properties. His brother Marc, a trained oenologist, closely monitors the breeding of Armagnacs. He works with the same rigor and passion as his father.
In just 30 years, the bottle collection now stands at more than 250 Armagnacs in more than 50 vintages!
It is thanks to this diversity that Marc Darroze has been able to build the "Grands Assemblages" collection. Chosen for their complementarity, the Armagnacs selected in each vintage are from different ages. Note, the age indicated on the bottle is the youngest Armagnac.

Yellow color gold with darker nuances. Flavours of evolution (walnut, hazelnuts, leather) accompany by the fruitier flavours (dry apricot, prune). In mouth, the attack is round. Tannins are silky and delicate. One finds flavours virtually identical to those of the nose. Good aromatic length.
