The house Ryst-Dupeyron is settled in Condom in what used to be the Cugnac family’s 18th century hotel. Joseph Dupeyron founded it in 1905 and knew how to pass on his passion of a well-rounded work to his family. His grandson Jacques-François Ryst is now the head of the property. The Ryst armagnacs – that became house Dupeyron in 1960 – are characterised by a careful work of selection which is at the very core of every great armagnac. Year after year, the armagnacs are stored in century-old cellars. The Dupeyron armagnacs are exclusively coming from the Bas-Armagnac and the Ténarèze regions. They are always of an impressive aromatic richness. Jacques François Ryst wants to continue honouring such a beautiful region and showing visitors – among others - that the development and the slow ageing of the eaux de vie have not changed for centuries. For this purpose, he has created a museum where he welcomes every amateur for a visit and a memorable tasting. There lies the evidence that the armagnac is an integral part of our patrimony and matches undoubtedly with the quality and traditions of this region.
