Description

Gascon oak in the spotlight! 
The oak barrel is of paramount importance in the aging of our Armagnacs. Double-Oaked is a blend that highlights the influence of Gascon oak and the work of our local coopers. An atypical and surprising product!

Terroir: sandy-silty soils of Bas-Armagnac. 
Grapes: Baco 22A, Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche. 
Distillation: Armagnac still with column at 58% vol. 
Aging: minimum 3 years of aging with 2 passages in new barrels, hence the name "Double-Oaked". First passage in new Gascon barrels with strong heating, then a second passage in new Gascon barrels with specific heating. 
Tasting - Nose: aromas of cocoa, toast, roasting and spices. 
TO TASTE: neat, with a dessert or in a cocktail like the Old-Fashioned.
