Description
100% Baco 22A, an identity grape variety from the Landes Bas-Armagnac - 43 °
The grapes used for this armagnac all come from non grafted baco planted in 1954 and 1963. This 6 year old blend is made from a delicate and meticulous blend of three vintages: 2009, 2010, 2012.
The “eaux-de-vie” will spend the first year of their life in new black Gascon oak barrels of 420 litres.
It has a bright colour and an intense nose. Its complexity and freshness are welcomed with aromas of granite apple, citrus fruits and roasting.
The palate is round and greedy, spicy with a good length on liquorice.
