We have selected with care all the products presented on our website. Quality and the prices are our only selection criteria. The possible comments about products come from producers and wholesalers.

• Prices and term of offer

Spirit products prices sold on Armagnac.com are those displayed on the website and duplicated on the order form. They are shown in euros (EUR) VAT included (rights and taxes in effect, French VAT of 19,6% included). The prices shown in the Armagnac.com catalogue do not include delivery fees or re-delivery fees (if no one is home when we attempt to deliver on the scheduled date and time, and you need to reschedule a date of delivery), These fees will be on the charge of the customer. The offer is valid from the moment it is published until its withdrawal.  The offer applies to the items defined by the Armagnac.com’s online catalogue. This offer applies to customers who are E.U residents. However, the commercial department of Armagnac.com will do everything its best to satisfy (in the limit of current legislation about spirits export) those who live in a country outside of the E.U.
The delivery of any order is only guaranteed depending on the limit of the open stock. In case of a product is out of stock from a producer or a wholesaler, Armagnac.com commits itself to let it appear on each product, and if necessary, to inform the customer by e-mail if the order has already been placed.
In obedience to the French law « n°80.335 of May, 12th 1980 » and the articles « 115 alinéa 2 » and 122 of the French Law « n° 85.98 of January, 25th 1985 », it is agreed that the products remain Armagnac.com’s property until the full payment of the invoice. Armagnac.com reserves the right to cancel any order from a customer in case of litigation with a previous order
Photos illustrating products are not contractual in any way. Armagnac.com can slightly modify a product and from then its graphic representation. This cannot affect the validity of the sale.

• Guarantees

Legal guarantee of product defects : Each producer or wholesaler has to be abide by the legal guarantee of product defects in conformity with the article 1641 of the French Civil Code: ”Each producer or wholesaler has to abide by the guarantee of the product defects of the item which make it improper to the use to which it is destined, or diminish this use so much that the buyer would have not bought it, or would have bought it for a cheaper price, had they know of these defects”.
“Money back” Guarantee: We hope our products will give you full satisfaction. However in obedience to the articles L. 121-16 of the French Code of Consumption, you have seven open days from the delivery day to return the item for exchange or refund without any penalty other than the mailing price. The refund will follow within 30 days from the day of reception of the item by Armagnac.com
Force Majeure Clause: Total or partial strike, lockout, bad weather, epidemics, blocking of means of transportation or supply for any reason, earthquake, fire, storm, flood, water damage, governmental or legal restrictions, modifications of laws or regulations concerning the means of commercialization, total or partial blocking of the means of telecommunication and communication, including networks and services, and their normal functioning. The Force Majeure Clause constitutes a cause for suspending or cancelling Armagnac.com’s obligations without compensation for the customer in case the event lasts longer than a month.

• Litigation and competent jurisdiction

Any complaint must be addressed  by mail to : Armagnac.com, Au village - 32500 LA SAUVETAT. France
. It will be considered and treated as soon as possible. Parts commit themselves to look for amicable solution before proceeding any legal action. Present sales conditions are submitted to the application of French law. The Court of the Head Office of LA MATRICE SARL is the only competent to rule any litigation linked to the application of present general terms of sales.

• Legislation

All the products on sale on Armagnac.com respect the French legislation. The sale of spirits by Armagnac.com is strictly reserved to individuals considered of age by their national legislation (18 years old in France). However, if these items are bought from another country without respecting the law of the said country, Armagnac.com’s liability will not be upheld.


• By credit card 

Our Partner Crédit Mutuel ensures, through the CM-CIC P@iement solution, a completely secure payment online. We use SSL secure protocols which are currently the most reliable. These networks assure a total confidentiality of the transmitted information and the protection of your bank information which are directly sent to the bank organization. Your confidential bank information is encrypted. The information does not circulate unencrypted on the Internet and is not saved by our servers. The debited amount is equal to the total amount of the purchase, possible customs duty and shipment included.

• By cheque

If you wish, you can also complete your payment by bank check with the reference of your order (exclusively in Euros (EUR)) payable to ARMAGNAC.COM, Au village, 32500 La Sauvetat, France. The payment of your purchase by this means of payment will involve a longer delivery time. Indeed, bottles will only be delivered upon full payment.

• Personal information use

We will only register personal information about yourself for the good processing of your orders or in order to set up a personalized service ( mailing of e-mails or promotional offers ). If you do not wish to be contacted by this means, you should inform us. Besides, we forbid ourselves to give your personal information to third parties. All information recorded by our services are accessible and changeable via your customer space on the Armagnac.com website. Indeed, in obedience to provisions of French law n° 78-17 of January, 6th 1978, relative to information technologies, files and liberties, you have the right to access, modify and oppose any personal information about yourself. Products ordered are shipped from the reception of your bill payment, either by normal way of shipping ( shipment by colissimo postal mail), or by express way (shipment by Chronopost or by a carrier) according to your choice.
The delivery of items ordered is made to your place of residence or any address you will indicate on the order form (delivery page of the cart). In case you are not there, a notice of readiness will be delivered to you by the carrier.
The shipment is made directly and under the whole responsibility of the producers or the merchants. The times of delivery are usually guaranteed :

Delivery time with normal shipment : 7 working days for France, 10 working days for Europe.
Delivery time with express shipment : 3 working days for France, 5 working days for Europe.

Carriage free : For every order from an amount of 220 Euros (EUR) VAT included, delivery fees are free (for France territory if all bottles come from the same producer). Our products are directly delivered from the producer, so if your cart contains bottles from different producers, shipment cost will be estimated accordingly and the items will be delivered in so many packages.

Label customization adds an extra 2 days to delivery time.

When the products ordered are delivered to the agreed address, you will have to sign a form attesting the reception of the right items, and that these items comply with the order and do not have any visible defect.
You are then kept, if you notice a loss or any damage, to express your reservations on the delivery form, and to address your complaint to the carrier by registered mail with receipt within 7 days following the delivery.

According to the same terms, you must send us the statement slip duly completed and attended with a copy of the letter addressed to the carrier.

Without this notification, you will be alleged to have abandoned any action about this cause towards us and towards our producers and merchants.
